My first impressions of this Sea Dog 30 ketch were just how sturdy and well equipped she is - she's also very easy on the eye! Well-known for their stylish modern looking sports powerboats, I was surprised to learn that Larson have been boatbuilding for over 100 years. Originally in Wisconsin, US and more recently from Indiana. Larson pride themselves on quality build standards and attention to detail. The Larson 857 Cabrio is a great looking boat. When I first visited This Dufour 460 GL she was out of the water for her winter maintenance - she needed a good wash but it is still straightforward to see its full potential. Since then we visited her again when she was back to the marina. The hull had already been prepped for its antifouling treatment and some aesthetic work. Fiskars designed their Finnsailer 35 along the lines of the traditional Baltic pilot boats. Strongly built to Lloyds standards and fitted out using quality materials.
