This project involves a 40ft narrowboat that has encountered several issues requiring attention and restoration. Regrettably, the boat took on water and sank in shallow conditions, with the water level rising just below the gunnels. As a result, the engine was submerged and will need a comprehensive rebuild or replacement. Upon inspection, a rotten rudder post was discovered. This has since been replaced.
