The Bayliner Avanti 3555 represents a fabulous looking, comfortable, spacious Motor Cruiser and this one appears to have been very well looked after by the current owner for the last 12 years or more, having spent over £15k improving her in that time.
A popular model which has a great deal to offer a family or couple wanting a safe and spacious Motor Cruiser.
She has a large cockpit area for entertaining friends and family whist moored up or out on the sea.
The large cockpit area also has a very substantial looking cockpit tent which allows full use of the boat on days when the weath... read more
This is a nice example of a fast rib for fun days out on the water!
She is currently berthed in a marina and sits on a floating pontoon which keeps her hull permanently out of the water and keeps her hull clean and ready for quick access to the water. The pontoon is not included in the sale, but is available via separate negotiation.
She is equipped with a nice level of safety and navigation equipment.
A few days after listing this boat she was lifted out of the water and the engine was professionally serviced by local marine engineering company.
The owner also informs us that the... read more
Stepping aboard this boat she feels like a sturdy vessel with good displacement for her size and a nice large deep cockpit area with good seating.
Stepping through into the wheelhouse she has a nice spacious and well laid out helm area with a comfy looking skipper's seat. The visibility in the wheelhouse is very good with large windows throughout. On the starboard side is a chart table which also doubles up to form a worktop area for the gas burner hob which sits beneath it.
Stepping down into the forward cabin, she is fitted with a V berth and plenty of headroom. Cleverly concealed in t... read more
The Prout Scirocco 26 is a much sought-after and rare boat to come across these days and this one is an even rarer find!
The current owner informs me that this boat's history begins when she was sold by Prout straight out of the mould to her first owner in or around the year 1982. That owner then had the boat placed into dry storage with a view to fitting her out but never completed or launched the boat.
Around the year 2000 Prout Holdings Ltd went into administration and at that same time the current owner bought the boat and had her moved into another dry storage compound and worked o... read more
This French and Peel Wide Beam barge/workboat represents a truly fantastic and very versatile craft.
Before I begin with my comments, after shooting the external video for this boat, the owner informed me that what I thought to be teak decks are actually laid with Iroko planks. Iroko is a hard wood timber used in boat building for centuries. It is known for its durability, high natural oil content and thus resistance to moisture.
She has been fitted out by her current owner (who is a Master Mariner) with an array of electronics and equipment to make for a fantastic liveaboard, and/or ... read more
Boatshed Torbay are pleased to offer for sale this ‘original’ Sunseeker 235 Offshore in what appears to be very good condition. She is just in need of a good scrub down of her decks to wash away the time spent in winter storage.
If you are looking for a bit of 1980’s style with the Sunseeker name without breaking the bank this is a great buy! She needs a bit of cosmetic interior work but the topsides and hull are looking good.
The owner confirmed that boat was also re-engined in 2014 with a Mercury 5.0 LX/V8 Bravo 2. And he has spent a lot of money in getting the engine profession... read more

I have to say, as we motored out to where this boat was moored, the closer we got the more I was so impressed by her fabulous lines and stunning looks. In my humble opinion, she really is a beautiful looking catamaran and certainly very unique.
In fact the more I chatted with the owner who has built her off plan and from concept to completed boat, he lovingly crafted her over a period of eight years. Then, following completion and test trials he adapted and modified her to produce a boat with little compromise, just functionality.
He has since completed sailing her around the UK and has ... read more
This converted lifeboat is simply a stunning piece of maritime history!
Named the Charles Dibdin and recorded on the historic ships registry, she was built in and commissioned in1905 as a lifeboat for the RNLI. She was in service with the RNLI until 1932 and during her service she was officially recorded as having saved over 420 lives and unofficially, probably many more.
Strong circumstantial evidence also points to the fact that she took part in the rescue of the British expeditionary force in Dunkirk along with all of the other "Little Ships" called upon at that time she and proudly ... read more
The Bayliner 175 is a great entry level bowrider. The flexible seating arrangement makes it ideal for social days out on the water. She has a great array of forward and rear facing seats.
The boat also benefits from power steering which the current owner had fitted at an additional cost of £2,000.
The current owner also fitted the engine hours meter and the meter reading reads from when he had that meter fitted. They have owned her for five years and she has only had light use during some of the summer months. Her current engine hour meter reads only 85 hours run time.
