Shearwater R65 RIB….
This is the Shearwater R65 – 6.5m long and as sleek looking as it is capable in rough water – It’s Category B Rated to prove it!

As of 2026 we are working with Bembridge Marine, who build these beautiful high quality RIB’s in their factory on the Isle of Wight, UK. These are high-end boats, built to exacting standards, and well capable of dealing with the coastal conditions that we are used to around Ireland and the UK.

The R65’s high bow, deep V and robust build give it outstanding sea keeping – even in adverse conditions. The R65 has been independently tested, earning a Category B Offshore Rating for both UK and EU sales. It comes with a choice of bolster, standard jockey or suspension jockey helm seat options.

Under the deck is a 200L, 4mm aluminium fuel tank. It has a large two section anchor locker, with ample storage in the console and seating. Aft is a deep bilge pump well.

The console has plenty of space for port or starboard steering and can accommodate large navigation units and electronics. Its 8mm windscreen with stainless steel rail gives good protection from wind and spray. Tucked under the screen is a moulded compass plinth and handy recessed shelf for phones etc and space for a charging point.

The console hinges to give full access to the internal space, which is huge! The battery fixing point is high in the console keeping it dry and away from water ingress.

Recommended power is from 115HP to 175HP. Even with 115HP on the transom, her efficient hull delivers effortless & economical performance.

The colour scheme on this R65 is sleek and striking. The Military Grey Carbon tubes (in Hypalon) with black accessories, are nicely complimented by the Silvertex Carbon Diamond upholstery and polished stainless steel rails and ski pole. One glance at this RIB on the dock and it’s apparent that the Shearwater is a cut above the competition. It really has to be seen in person to be appreciated!

This example is very nicely spec’d and ready to go to the water for the 2026 season. She is equipped with a Garmin 75CV Chartplotter/Sounder, ICOM VHF Radio, Ski Tow Pole with Integrated Anchor Light & VHF Antenna, Bow Cushion Package, Hydraulic Steering, Mercury Vessel View Module, etc, etc.

This hull is brand new, un-used and un-registered. Backed by a 5 year limited factory warranty.

This boat is currently equipped with a 2023 Mercury 115HP Command Thrust FourStroke Outboard which is included in the advertised asking price. This engine is fully serviced up to date and backed with a full year’s warranty. If you prefer a brand new engine we would be happy to work out an attractive deal for you with your choice of new Mercury outboard, up to 175HP Max… Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss engine options.
