The Hallberg-Rassy 26 is a medium displacement cruiser, ideal for those looking for a capable compact cruiser for longer distance sailing with a number of circumnavigations to their record! Well-mannered and confidence inspiring to sail, they offer a high quality traditional interior that has a roomy and light feel for the size. 'Ceto' boasts a recent Volvo Penta engine and Harken furling system. Well worth inspection.

Accommodation
The accommodation offers four berths in two cabins. In fore cabin, V berth with stowage beneath, hanging locker, opening hatch to foredeck and marine toilet with holding tank to port with large basin opposite. The saloon offers two settee berths with stowage behind and beneath, foldaway saloon table and various storage areas. Galley aft to port equipped with a Primus 2-burner hob, cool box, stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply and good stowage. Navigation area to starboard with instrumentation and electrical distribution panel. Blue upholstery throughout.
Mechanical Systems
Located under the companionway, Volvo Penta D1-13 2-cylinder 13hp diesel engine (new 2009). Freshwater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Saildrive to 2-bladed propeller. Diaphragm changed in July 2022. The engine has been regularly maintained (serviced annually), is in very good cosmetic order and has currently run for approximately 700 hrs from new.

Slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks. Harken headsail furling system (2023). Some lines led aft to cockpit. Two 30 sheet winches. Two halyard winches.

Construction
Hallberg-Rassy 26 built in 1979 by Hallberg-Rassy to a design by Olle Enderlein. White GRP hull with rubbing strake, superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Long fin keel. Tiller steering to transom hung balanced rudder. Aft self draining cockpit. Teak cockpit grating. New cockpit seat lids in 2023. Last surveyed in 2023
