This X2 comes with a closed cooling package to protect the block. It can also be fitted with a flush kit- the Saltwater Series engine wasn't released until 2006.
The X-2 was MasterCraft's former flagship wakeboarding model, it was the official tow boat of seven X Games and multiple other pro events. High performance with a compact hull.
Direct-drives with a 90-inch beam and V-drive. A nimble boat with a tight turning radius and very responsive handling. Plush L-shaped passenger seating around the driver's console. Seats there and in the open bow shift for access to lots of storage compartments.
Comes with a two-piece collapsing tower, rotating board racks and hull graphics as new upgrades for 2005.
What's it like to ride?
The table is narrow enough that even new riders can master jumping wake to wake. It comes with a 700-pound ballast system for bigger, thicker wakes that sport rounded peaks. Suitable for All levels of riders. Pulls are quick and steady with the fast acceleration and stable handling of the 90-inch-wide X-2. Equipped with a full wakeboarding package, it's ready for riding as soon as you take it off the showroom floor (excerpt from Waterski Mag 2004).
